Has been featured on multiple tv shows (Beyond Oak Island, Yolo Tx, Day Trippers) as well as many news stories featuring the facility on tv. Licensed service tech to work on most brands of gear. Son of Calvin & Shannon Wilcher who have owned the facility since 1987. Runs the dive shop, our social media, & website.

PADI & Public Safety Diving Master Instructor
Calvin is the original owner of Athens Scuba Park & started the business back in 1987. Was a PADI & Public Safety master instructor for over 30 years. Retired from Scuba instructing and has ran the business up til 2026. He is now retired and enjoys treasure hunting as his main hobby. Also featured on Beyond Oak Island w/Alex.

Married to Calvin, also was a PADI Instructor. Been around the dive industry since the late 80s. Has been in charge of setting up all of our classes over the last 40 years. She is semi-retired but still involved lots!

Diving the lakes of East Texas has become a passion for Scott. Helping others learn the wonderful world of Scuba is truly a blessing.
Scott has been fortunate to have traveled to many places to dive and explore. He is very involved in reef restoration and marine ecology.

Craig began his diving journey in October 2023 and quickly discovered a passion for exploring the underwater world—and sharing it with others. He began taking numerous classes to continue his diving education which led to becoming a Divemaster. After spending almost a year as a Divemaster, Craig became an SSI Open Water Instructor.
Craig holds multiple specialty instructor ratings including React Right (First Aid, CPR, AED and O2), Diver Stress & Rescue, Enriched Air Nitrox, Perfect Buoyancy, Science of Diving, Dive Guide, Computer Diving, Marine Ecology and SSI Explorers.
Craig is dedicated to helping new divers build confidence, develop strong foundational skills, and experience the excitement of scuba diving for the first time. His teaching style focuses on safety, comfort, and creating a fun, supportive learning environment for every student. Craig brings a calm presence, patience and a genuine love of diving to every class.
