PARK RULES

General Park Policies

  • Waivers: All guests must sign a liability waiver upon entry. Minors (under 18) must have a waiver signed by a parent or guardian and must be supervised by a guardian at all times.
  • Alcohol Policy: Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited during diving hours or while doing any water related activities. Alcohol may only be consumed inside your RV or tent after you are done diving for the day. If staff suspects intoxication, you will be denied access to the lake.
  • Zero Tolerance: No illegal drugs are permitted on the property. Violation will result in an immediate ban and removal from the park.
  • Glass Containers: No glass bottles or containers of any kind are allowed anywhere on the property.
  • Metal Detecting: Metal detecting is prohibited on land or in the lake unless you are conducting a specific training session authorized in advance by ASP staff.
  • Wreck Penetration: Diving inside wrecks is strictly prohibited unless you have the proper training. (Wreck diver certification)

Scuba & Water Safety

  • No Lifeguard on Duty: Swim and dive at your own risk. If you cannot swim, do not enter the water.
  • Certification Required: Proof of at least an Open Water Certification is required to dive at our facility unless you are in training.
  • Solo Diving: Solo diving is prohibited unless you hold a valid Solo Diver certification and have the proper necessary gear.
  • Propulsion Devices: No underwater scooters (DPVs) or any watercraft with a propeller/motor are allowed in the lake.
  • Diving & Alcohol: You may not enter the water if you have consumed alcohol. ASP Staff has the right to decline access to the lake or pool if suspected the user is intoxicated or under the influence of any drugs.

Camping & Overnight

  • Quiet Hours: Noise curfew is 11:00 PM. Please respect your neighbors.
  • Fires: Our facility is in the city limits. No open ground fires. You can bring your own fire pit, but you are responsible for any damage to the grass or property. Please ask ASP staff where firpits are allowed to be placed.
  • Cleanliness: Please pick up all tent stakes and trash before checking out. Leave your campsite cleaner than you found it.
  • Pets: Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a leash at all times. Pets are not allowed to be left unattended at campsites. Dogs can only enter the water from designated sites. Walking on the banks or silting up visibility for divers will result in you and the dog asked to leave.
  • Gate Hours: The main gate closes promptly at 6:00 PM on Sundays.

Parking & Vehicles

  • Speed Limit: IDLE SPEED ONLY while driving anywhere on the property.
  • Prohibited Vehicles: ATVs, RTVs, Side-by-Sides, and loud vehicles are not allowed for recreational use.
  • Allowed Transport: Golf carts, land scooters, and bicycles are welcome for transportation around the property.
  • Parking: All vehicles must display a valid car tag. Park in designated areas only. Unless otherwise instructed by staff, parking on the grass is prohibited.
